Starbucks challenge is US & Canada only. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/blog/fitness/march-monthly-garmin-connect-badge-challenges/
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really say that you can only take the badge in US and Canada. I read that you can only redeem the award in stores in US and Canada.
DeleteI can't see the challenge or badge yet and my location is set to US. We will see tomorrow if it pops up. Someone in the US or Canada should be able to tell when they are seeing the challenge.
I see now that is says "This challenge has limited spots and is only available in the U.S. and Canada.". We will see...
DeleteNot everyone is a Starbucks fan. So this might not be able for joining. I myself don't care for Starbucks. And i live in the U.S., N.Y. to be exact. Earn 150 Stars to add to your Starbucks® Rewards account, redeemable for a free handcrafted beverage or food item of your choice. So some would benefit from it, while others would not be. The badge is very beautiful and nice, i do admit. But i don't see it being put out there, again we would have to wait and see.
ReplyDeleteThere are also 5 new Tacx awards now available, namely 10km, 25km, 50km, 75km and 100km; each with the Tacx app.
ReplyDeleteGreat. I've added them to the database.
Deleteas expected, editing Feb's Tacx rides works a charm. :-)
DeleteIt looks like you only get credit for one badge at a time. I completed a 34km ride and only earned the 25k tacx badge.
DeleteYes, i see them up on the Garmin Connect Sign-in Website. So they should show up later on tonight, on the Garmin Connect App on individuals devices. Thank You!
ReplyDeleteIt's 12:25 a.m. here in N.Y. and the Starbucks Challenge Badge is not available. I repeat not available! I checked the Garmin Connect App twice.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you repeat "not available"? Do you think we missed it the first time? 😁
DeleteMaybe capacity is met. Who knows, maybe capacity was 10 challenges. 🤣
ReplyDeleteThe Starbucks Challenge Badge is now available on the Garmin Connect App.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thank you!
DeleteHi Vincent - your badge collection is amazing! It would be fantastic if you could share some of the old route files so the rest of us could also complete them. And also if you could give tips on how to get some of the more obscure ones like the Outessa ones?
Delete@dmmac: With a little initiative, all routes can be found on the internet!
DeleteThanks @Micky - I have found a lot of them - but really struggling to find the remaining ones!
DeleteHow do you log weight training for the strength challenge?
ReplyDeleteLog the activity as "Strength Training". It is probably named "Strength" in your watch if you got support for it. If you got no support for it you can log it as something else and then change the type afterwards in Garmin Connect.
DeleteStrange...I did not see the Starbucks badge on either app or web on the day released, however it is currently available for my wife.
ReplyDeleteCheck the country setting. It must be either US or Canada. https://www.garmin.com/account/profile/
DeleteThat did the trick.
DeleteThanks!
Bonjour, je vais aller chercher le badge ' Starbucks March Steps'. Je me suis mis au Canada pour avoir accès. Par contre, je ne vois pas comment avoir le badge ' Starbucks card' car l application n est pas disponible dans mon pays.
ReplyDeleteMake sure the location in this page really says Canada: https://www.garmin.com/account/profile/
DeleteAfter that you should see the challenge in the challenge page: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/challenge
I can still leave and join the challenge with location set to Canada.
This is the challenge page: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/badge-challenge/16AA8567A4904130A48E7E979CA1D843
Merci, j ai accès au défi. Je voulais juste savoir si il était possible d avoir l autre badge de Starbucks, celui qui est de couleur verte
DeleteThere is only one Starbuck's challenge with a green badge. The one where you should take 400k steps.
DeleteOk merci beaucoup
