Something's been in the works. If you've used Garmin Badge Database over the years, you know there's always been a list of things it should do, features that were missing, things that didn't quite work the way they should, a design that was ready for retirement. We heard it. We felt it too. So we went away and fixed it. All of it. The new Garmin Badge Database is nearly ready, and it's a complete rebuild — a modern design that's actually nice to look at, new features, proper accounts, a rewritten sync tool, and a lot of the things the community has been asking for. May 2026 - Challenges and Badges

  Join the May challenges now  in Garmin Connect. Garmin made it really hard this month to see what is coming since they yet again changed the format of the translations file that I'm using as a source. To see what is being changed I've created a PHP script that fetches the translations file, parses it and create objects of each challenge and badge so the title and description are together and prints them to a web page. I then use a great diff tool called wachete to monitor the parsed data and to see the diffs between each request of the file.
