    1. 😭 un peu lassant c'est vrai

    2. The rotating bi-monthly changes to the challenges are a good routine for me. Easy to plan and easy to remember.

    3. I was kind of hoping they would have the Beat Yesterday challenges again this summer. Last year the Beat Yeasterday Walk was in June and the Beat Yesterday Cycling was in July. That made those months interesting, at least for me.

  2. Are there country limitations to be picked up? Like for Dragon Boat Festival in 2025: Record an activity on Dragon Boat Festival, May 31, 2025. Country: China Mainland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam

  3. Nice Relaunch, congrats!

If your can add the three standard-links at the end (see last month), I'd be happy 😊

  4. Thanks for posting. So the Weekend 5K and Walking Badges are the same weekend? Has this ever happened before? I've been a Garmin wearer for around 14 months. Thanks

  6. Is the global wellness day country specific? Not showing in Sweden

  7. I've just updated to your beta Garmin Badge Database. Wow! You've been busy! It's very nice. I also subscribed to the calendar feed. Why do I even need my spreadsheet anymore? lol (there are other reasons, but you've made it easy to see and track what's been earned and what's available. Thank you.

  9. Hello. I installed this beta extension. But now the previous Chrome extension does not work anymore. Is that the intended behavior?

    1. It should work with both installed. Note that with the old version you must be viewing Garmin Connect for it to work.

  10. Is changing country in any way against tos or something like that? Also is there a cooldown after changing country or could I change back to my real country as soon as I have the badge?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It isn't explicitly against the TOS, but Garmin is asking for "country of residence" which you see if you expand the text "How will this be used?". At the same time is the field labeled "Location" which many probably will interpret as my current location.
Garmin blocked the function to change country for some time, but opened it up again. That might indicate that they allow it...indirectly.

There is no cooldown. You might get logged out when you switch between countries in different regions (Europe to Asia for example).

The only thing to consider is that if you edit the activity that gave you a badge the badge will be evaluated again and if the country is wrong then the badge will be lost. Then you have to do the country switch again and edit the activity to get the badge back.
