Obviously it will not be possible to get the February 17th badge by changing nation
ReplyDeleteIn previous years those badges haven't had any country requirement so I think everyone will be able to get them. We will see when that day comes.
DeleteAnders, I recently started using your garminbadges.com site, and I must say, very impressive. I had been keeping my own spreadsheet, but yours integrates so seamlessly. Thank you. I was wondering if a column could be added to the "My challenges" page, to indicate which badges are repeatable? PS. Sorry for being off topic, it was either here or in an activity of yours. Thanks again and keep up the great work! Eric
ReplyDeleteYou only see challenges, badges that are active, so it means you can get them at the moment. If something can be had only once and you already have it you won't see it in the challenges.
DeleteThank you. As Gavriel says. You see all repeatable you can get and all challenges you signed up for. As soon as you no longer can get a badge it will disappear.
DeleteI see. That makes sense. From that perspective I'll keep my spreadsheet alive. I enjoy logging my activities at the end of the day. Thank you both, oh and Andy, very impressive Garmin Level! PS. Oh, it took me a while some badges, still available/repeatable, ARE on on the Garmin Badges "earned" tab.
DeleteAndy, is it possible to change the days to be float instead of int or at least round the days left down? For example now it's almost the end of the month and almost the end of the day (29th Jan, 21:17) but it still calculates everything as if I still had 3 days left, while in reality it would make much more sense to calculate with 2 days left. This of course is getting more noticable as we are getting closer to the end of the month (or any other date where a challenge ends)
ReplyDeleteI will see what I can do. Either use a float with one decimal place or use rounding. Then it will switch to 2 days after half the day.

ReplyDeleteMove in Tune Shokz Challenge has country restriction: kr, jp, gb (UK), nl, USA
DeleteThank you. I found the challenge.
DeleteThe text says: "Offer is valid only in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Italy and Spain."
It is the same countries as the "Shokz Leap Year Challenge" from 2024.
I can’t see this challenge. I have Connect+ which I thought over rode the country requirements
DeleteIt isn't a global badge in that sense. This is a marketing requirement. The offer is only for those countries.
DeleteTried to change my country for the Shokz badge and Garmin don't allow me to change and display the following message: "Please contact customer support to change your location."
DeleteAnyone has the same issue?
I'm also not able to change my country location. It appears that Garmin has disabled the location edit feature 😔
DeleteYes. Garmin removed the ability of switching countries on the app and website. Now you have to call them. I'm not sure what's the procedure as this isn't worth my time to change countries just to get a badge. Before it would take a minute or two but now having to call and wait for this isn't feasible.
DeleteAndy, I didn't get my Japan 5km badge. I was able to get it by changing the country from my profile, but the feature is now blocked. Is there another way? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou have to run in the correct location. So, it is probably possible to run the course virtually to get the badge. Not sure how to do that though. For biking it is easy to do virtual rides.
DeleteHallo Andy hab heute das Gewichtsgenie bekommen, sind die Bagdes nicht über Connect + erhältlich weil das wundert mich jetzt hab nämlich kein Connect +.
ReplyDeleteThe nutrition badges seem to be available to everyone.
DeleteIn that case, do you know how to get them, please ? Throught "My Fitness Pal" ?
DeleteUse the Connect+ trial and get them. It should work to log everything 30 days back in time to get all badges.
Deletee7andy Thank you for the website! and keeping it up!
ReplyDeleteAs I am comparing badges with friends and other garmin users, I saw that in 2025 they have Lunar New Year's eve badge Jan 28 2025 and Year of Snake Jan 29 2025. Last year in blog history you also did not include Lunar New Years eve badge, is it available this year as well, or its only for Asian countries?
It is in the blog, but Garmin has changed the name of it after it was awarded. It was previously called Chinese New Year's Eve 2025.
DeleteGarmin hasn't yet shown anything about a Lunar New Year's Eve badge this year, but sometimes they add those badges really late.
That badge didn't have any country restriction in previous years so if it comes it should be available to everyone.
It was very cool to have specific badges for the last summer olympic games🥇... Too bad they didn't do anything for the winter olympics ☹️
ReplyDeleteYeah! I almost posted about it too, then realized, that there are not many sports I could do to get a badge. Maybe some ice skating related.
DeleteWow @Gavriel that's crazy. I live in Texas, so not much winter sports here, but I'm shocked there's no snow or ice sport badges. Crazy.
DeleteBonjour à tous
ReplyDeletePas d'info sur le badge st Valentin ?

ReplyDeletelooks nice, and stark oposite to connect+ pay to win badges and recent country change restriction
Die Info, Valentine and year of the horse badges are now online
ReplyDeleteDie=For :-|
ReplyDeleteI don't see the Die Info badge
Deletefor info, there is to new badges... but yeaah it would be fun if there is Die for badge 😂
Delete😁
Delete🤣
DeleteThere is no Lunar New Year's Eve badge this year? As in previous years? 😟
ReplyDeleteNothing know or hinted by Garmin yet. Just log one activity each day to be sure to never miss any of those badges if they show up very late.
DeleteHad anyone gotten the year of the house badge? Is it only available tomorrow or is it available tonight?
ReplyDeleteIt is only available on Feb 17.
