ReplyDeleteNot USA I would think since National Hero Day was July 20, but of course Garmin is mainly concerned with APAC countries holidays so no mention of a badge for that - typical.....
Wife just showed me it's also National Hero Day in USA on October 8. Does anybody know what Be A Hero day really is?

DeleteBefore August, the challenge record 100,000 steps before the 14th was always "remunerated" by 1 point ; In August, the same challenge will be "remunerated" by 2 points ;-)

DeleteHi everyone, is there any way or tool to merge three activity files into one triathlon file? For example, merge three activities of swimming, cycling and running into one triathlon activity file. Thank you
ReplyDeleteFit File Repair Tool can probably do it, but test with fitfiletools.com first and then split the activity to a multisport activity in Garmin Connect.

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to add GPS data to my indoor cycling activities so they count towards the challenges, but I'm not having success with the GOTOES web app. GOTOES shows that the GPX course was added to the file, but Garmin Connect doesn't recognize it.
Has anyone done this kind of FIT file modification and made it work?
There is no need to add GPS data. Just add a distance.

they removed avgust time to run badge (1pt for ~100km monthly runs) but added step into avgust 2pt for 100k steps, what a joke :/

ReplyDeleteLet me ask a simple question: with the new Garmin Connect update, I can no longer find the run coach function. Don't tell me that it has been charged!
ReplyDeleteWhat you see in the Coach page is the Run coach (and Bike and Strength coach).
DeleteIf you want the old coaches you have to start those plans on the web.
No Andy, on the Coach page there are the 3 coaches Jeff/Greg/Amy but there is no longer the fourth one
DeleteThen you probably got an old device. For the newer devices those coaches are not available in the app. Only the web. In the app there is only one coach. So, Garmin seems to be moving to the new coach only.

DeleteAmong the challenges proposed by Connect, I see the 15 km race to be carried out from 1 to 31 August. There is no 15 km run on August 15. Can you tell me something about it? If I ran today would I have 2 badges or just 1?
Yes, you can get both 5k and 15k badges if you run at least 15 km this weekend.

ReplyDeleteThere are still a few badges not added by Garmin. They usually add them just a few days a head.
