ReplyDeleteWe don't know yet, but you must probably run the races at the correct location.

ReplyDeleteSind die 2 Abzeichen vom Medellin Marathon/Halbmarathon schon sichtbar zumindest auf Umstellung von Kolumbien sind sie noch nicht sichtbar oder hat Garmin es wieder gelöscht?
I haven't seen any of the race badges yet.

DeleteThere will be no ultimate badges for 2024 (the ones for hitting the quarterly running, riding and walking badges)? I think last year they were announced in September.

DeleteJust ran a 5km with county set to Taiwan and didn't get the badge, so looks like needs to be the actual course this year.

DeleteIs it not working anymore to change country and edit activity to get badge when you found out later? Have 9km run on 15/9 so tried to set country to taiwan and edit activity name to get that 5km badge. Didnt get badge. But worled with mid autumn festival badge today.
ReplyDeleteThe 5k run had to be done at the correct location so just changing country isn't enough.
DeleteAh ok, didnt know that as it appeared to be similar like vietnam runs last year. Anyway I tried to delete the activity and reupload again. Weekend 5km badge is gone. Can this be fixed?
DeleteChallenges can only be awarded during the challenge period and the period for September Weekend 5K has ended so it can't be earned any longer.

DeleteDid 5k and 10k run today with country set to Indonesia and badges for Run Asia Series visible. Didnt get any of them. This worked for similar badges last year. Did they changed it somehow in badge settings? Are you Andy able to see any different setting? Or is not only date but also same time of this event needed? I did not find exact time where this event starts or ends.
ReplyDeleteOk, found that event times here: https://www.garmin.co.id/event/2024/garmin-run/information.html however 6:00 of indonesia time is 1:00 am of CET. Changing activity time to start from 1AM did not help. So probably no chance to get these badges?

Country: Indonesia. Why the different description then? Why this worked last year? Was there any announcement from Garmin regarding this?
DeleteGarmin hasn't announced anything about it. We just have to test and see what works.
DeleteOk, so I finally succeeded by downloading Strava gpx from one of the athletes I found in results. Used fit file tools to change device, uploaded to Garmin Connect, got the badge. Too much cheating for me, so removed that activity. Pity it does not work anymore like last year...
