New functions - Top Lists, view users with badge, earned date and more

Image
I've added a couple of new functions to the site. A new link is added to the badge overlay to view all users that got that badge. There is also a new page with Top Lists of badges and users: Top Lists page Note that the headers of the tables are clickable and will sort the content in that column. Badges without country requirement In the country select you can now remove all badges that got a country requirement. Select the last item:  [No country requirement] . Earned date The earned date for all badges are now stored in the database. You must add your badges again to add the earned dates. For repeatable badges the last earned date is stored since the first earned date doesn't exist in the data used. You will currently only see the earned date in the badge list "Users with badge". Users per badge Lists all badges and the number of users that got each badge. Click the badge name and you will see a list of all users. Users with badge View all users that got a specifi...

How to get a geo located badge - Single activity. Not triathlon...yet

Image
Update: In January 2021 Garmin made some changes that stopped TCX files from being used for badges and challenges. I've got a report that it works if you convert the file to a FIT file and set a Garmin device as creator. Many of the badges can be awarded by just changing the country and then doing the required activity, distance and time, but there are also a number of location specific badges where that doesn't work like that. The most recent ones are the triathlons in Taiwan. What I've read is that the start and end locations must be at the correct location. So, how can we still get those badges? I managed to get one of the older geo located badges: Gatchina Half Marathon 10K 2019 The description is: Run the Gatchina Half Marathon 10K in Gatchina, Russia, on November 17, 2019. The idea was: Get the course Add timestamps Upload to Garmin Connect I found a course in Garmin Connect:  https://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses Searched for Gatchina and set the distance to 8...
